WHO WE ARE

Erika Eriksson launched her own womenswear label in 1988, after working for several years as a designer, stylist and patternmaker for a wide range of Montreal clothing manufacturers and travelling extensively for research in Europe and Asia.

In 1991 she decided to concentrate on children’s apparel, designing and producing her own line of high-end children’s clothing for the North American market. She set up her own showroom in New York City in 1997. Her creations sold in better boutiques across Canada and the United States and in many American department stores such as Barneys New York, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Marshall Field’s, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Since 2007 Erika Eriksson has been producing only made-to-measure lawyers’ and judges’ robes, tabs and other courtwear. These items are produced with the same attention to detail and workmanship that Ms. Eriksson applied to her childrens’ creations. Although most of her clients are from the Province of Quebec, Ms. Eriksson has made robes and tabs for judges from every other Canadian province. In the spring of 2015 she was commissioned to redesign and produce the robes of the judges of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Manitoba.
